### Project-specific values
- **Architecture:** star-and-tree, BACnet/IP backbone, BACnet MS/TP at field per DRC-004.
- **Core switch:** managed L3 ≥ 24-port + 2× SFP fibre uplink — 1 unit at Lower Ground core rack.
- **Edge switches:** managed L2 8-port + SFP — 11 units, one per IDF (B1 / LG / GF / 2F / 2M / 3F / 5F / 6-9F / 10-11F / 12F / RD).
- **Backbone fibre:** ~150 m typical (per A3 `bacnet_ip_backbone_riser`); LC-LC OM3 FRLS riser-rated.
- **Cat6 trunk to DDC panels:** 8 segments at average ~7 m each.
- **MS/TP backbone:** 250 m typical (per A3 `mstp_riser_2f_to_rd`).
